COD: Modern Warfare 2 Tournament

In the fall semester, The Club had a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Tournament for the student body. We hosted the tournament the morning the game was released to increase anticipation and desire to participate in the tournament that featured the game. Sixteen teams signed up and we had a lot of people that came just to watch the event. Here is the Second Series of designs we put on campus when sign-ups started. The First Series of designs we put on campus, was a teaser campaign. It used the Lock 'N Load Modern Warfare 2 Tournament logo with a different more simple design with no information about the tournament, just the words, "Coming Soon." We did this to create anticipation amongst the students to get them to look forward to the next series which would explain more about the tournament. We put out the first series month and a half before the tournament which was 2 weeks before the second series went out telling the students about the tournament and sign-ups.

Granger Smith Concert

In March, The Club had country artist, Granger Smith, come out to Commerce to perform for the Students. Here are the designs we used for advertising the show. It was decided that changing the saying from "Beer, $1 hot dogs, 50c drinks" (as shown in the first design) to "Beer, Dancing, Food" (as shown in the later design) would be more fitting for the crowd we were trying to advertise to.

Fan Drive

Advertisements for our fan drive during the beginning of January.

Our goal was to get people to sign up as The Club's friend on Facebook and Twitter. We tried to advertise this fan drive through different avenues to get the message out to the student body. We won a Facebook Face-off Challenge and now The Club has over 600 people as their friend.
